Born In the U.S.A. (Not)

Big day for Sophie today, whether she realizes it or not. She's now officially a U.S. citizen! We got our papers from the U.S. Embassy this afternoon and we were reassured that the passport will arrive in the next 10 days. To celebrate, the immigration officer gave Sophie a present: a tiny American flag she can wave with pride.
