MVP = Kobe

I was fortunate enough to be able to watch the end of both NBA playoff games today...first, I returned home from my Sunday shift just as Chicago was sealing their surprising victory against the Miami Heat to even their series 2-2...however, I'm still pretty confident the Heat will pull it off especially since their only reliable big man (Tyson Chandler) went down with what appeared to be a scary-looking ankle injury at the end.

Even more remarkable, I woke up from my nap just moments before the end of the Phoenix-LA Lakers game, where Kobe Bryant popped a Jordanesque jumper right as time expired to allow the underdog to take the game and a 3-1 series lead! I know that Steve Nash is supposed to win the MVP award later in the week, and I admit that throughout my entire NBA fan career I've been a Kobe-detractor, but in my mind he's the clear choice for MVP, and this game only proves the point.
