Fulfilling My Civic Duty

I was summoned for jury duty today--even though I've only lived here for about a year and a half--and despite the temptation to pull a "Liz Lemon"-style Princess Leia impersonation in an attempt to get out of it, I fulfilled my civic today. I was almost disappointed that I was sent home at 1:30pm without being impaneled. Better luck in three years.
