This generation of young ones will know cell phones as a way of life for as long as they can remember. Sophie (along with many of her peers, from what I've observed) are fascinated by cell phones--probably something about all the buttons and lights. Even though she doesn't always understand how to hold the phone, she gets the general idea, and can even make a passable "hello!"
